Team Japan (Kota and Taka), Team Landlord (Faisst, Twitch and Lusk) and Team Roomate (Potter and me)
I just got home from a week long road trip to San Jose CA. I went with Potter, Lusk, Faisst, Taka, Kota, and Twitch to film for his new video. We built all kinds of cool jumps at a rock quarry up there…Check Tedescophoto.com for pictures and look for Twitch’s new Video coming out this Fall..

Last weekend I flew out to Tampa, Florida for another Boost Mobile Night Shift Demo. There was about 20,000 people that showed up to see the cars, rap concert, bikini contest and our freestyle show.

Myself, Jeremy Lusk and John Distler
There was a 20 MPH crosswind all day and we thought it might let up by the night time, but no, the storm was rolling in and there was nothing we could do about it. We got on our bikes anyways and put on a show. Its hard doing a lot of the standard tricks in the wind but we were able to pull off some whips and back flips for all the fans that came out…Check Freestylemx.com for more…

This was my favorite part of the show, and made up for the shitty riding conditions

I spent last weekend doing demos at the University of Pheonix Stadium in Glendale AZ, another good trip on the Freestylemx.com tour.

It felt good to get my first ramp-to-ramp flips out of the way

Yesterday I rode a demo in Pomona with Jeremy Lusk, Nikki Danielson and Jim McNeil as part of the Boost Mobile Freestylemx.com tour. We did 3 shows through out the evening and they all went smooth. Our Japanize buddy Taka has been riding with us a lot lately and came out to watch, look for him to be killing it in the contests this year. The next stop on the tour is in Glendale AZ March 29-April 1.Check out freestylemx.com for more.

Last week I moved out here to Temecula and its great. I live with Potter and Chris Tedesco in Twitch’s old house. It’s a lot of fun, theres never a dull moment living with Todd. So far riding and Guitar Hero has consumed most of our time.

How would you like to win and own a brand new custom Honda CR250 similar to the ones ridden by both Brian Deegan and Ronnie Faisst? Now’s your chance – all you have to do is purchase a limited edition Chris Ackerman t-shirt available exclusively at ArsensalMX.com. For every t-shirt purchased, you will be automatically entered into a drawing for the Honda motorcycle. The more t-shirts you purchase, the better your chances could be of winning the CR250. It’s that easy! The winner will be picked and announced on ArsenalMX.com on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17), which also marks the four year anniversary of Chris’ crash.
In addition, all proceeds collected from the purchased t-shirts will be donated to help riders with Spinal Cord Injuries including Chris Ackerman, Ernesto Fonseca and James Marshall.
Chris Ackerman broke the C-2 in his vertebrae while riding his dirt bike on March 17, 2003 in Dumont Dunes. The accident left him paralyzed from the shoulders down. Since then Chris has received an innumerable amount of support and help from friends and the industry. He wants to turn a negative into a positive and give back to those that have helped him and share similar Spinal Cord Injuries. Chris would like to thank the following for making this bike giveaway possible: etnies Shoes, Honda USA, Works Connection, Renthal, FMF Racing, Universal Motocross, Factory Effex, Pro Wheel Racing Components, Race Tech Suspension, SoBe/No Fear Energy Drink, Oakley, Balls Deep Boxers, Vestal Watches, Metal Mulisha, Throwdown Industries, Bike Work and, last but not least, ArsenalMX.com.

I just got back from Oregon where we did the second annual Metal Mulisha FMX challenge. Deegan let OX, Fluffer, Potter and myself drive his motor home up for the event (thanks Brian). We got there at about 4am the day before the event. After some breakfast and a little nap we sessioned Homan’s ramps and supercross track in his backyard. It was sick, it snowed the night before and the dirt was perfect! Twitch and Faisst got in that night and we got some dinner and everyone was pretty tired so we just went to bed.
Friday and Saturday we did the shows, It was SOLD OUT! Everyone was riding super good, probably because we were on coke! JUST KIDDING, but seriously the ground was so slick we had to spray down Coke Cola to make it sticky enough to keep our wheels from spinning before the ramps.
